Calamity Island

Mackinnon & Saunders and Famous Flying Films are very
pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement with CBeebies for their new stop motion comedy series Calamity Island.

Devised by Koala Brothers creator David Johnson, the series will consist of 20 X 7 minute episodes.

Calamity Island charts the misadventures of two lovable, comically inept sailors who find themselves shipwrecked and having to share a tropical island with its quirky inhabitants – chief of which is a mischievous penguin.

Alison Stewart, Head of CBeebies Production, Animation and Acquisitions said, “We are delighted to be working with Famous Flying Films and Mackinnon & Saunders on this series, which we’re sure will become a favourite with our viewers, and have them laughing out loud!”
